Does Rouse Children’s Center provide lunches?
No. We provide both morning and afternoon snacks, and drinks at all meals.

What are the hours of operation for Rouse Children’s Center?
We are open Monday through Friday, from 6:00 a.m. until 6:00 p.m.

Is Rouse Children’s Center open on holidays?
We are only closed on New Year’s Day, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving and Christmas if they fall on a week day.

Does Rouse Children’s Center provide transportation, to and from school, for my school-age child?
Yes, a school bus picks them up outside the center in the morning and returns the children back to the center in the afternoon.

Will my child play outside every day?
Yes, the children play outside every day unless the temperature is below 25 degrees, including wind chill factor.

How much does care for my child cost at Rouse Children’s Center?
Our costs vary depending on each family’s situation. We accept subsidy payments, participate in a scholarship program, and have different rates for full-time and part-time enrollments. Please contact the administrator for further information.

Where is Rouse Children’s Center located?
We are located in the heart of downtown Youngsville, Pennsylvania. Our centralized location allows access to the public library, various playgrounds, the Brokenstraw Valley Pool, and a variety of other activities.

How old does my child have to be to attend Rouse Children’s Center?
We care for children ages 12 months to 12-years old.

Does Rouse Children’s Center offer a preschool program?
Our preschool program is built into our morning schedule. Families interested in preschool without full day care are welcome to bring their children for the morning hours.

Does Rouse Children’s Center offer a summer program?
Yes, we offer full day care for school-aged children during their summer vacation. This program includes swimming, field trips, and guest speakers.
